Just as one person delights in improving his farm, and another his horse, so I delight in attending to my own improvement day by day.
-Epictetus
This quote was made for me. It seems the only thing I’m short on these days is enough time to learn more about myself. The older I get, the more I want to know and I really like this. Through writing, reading, listening and speaking, I learn more and more each day. I’m grateful I get to share that with all of you.
We are digging into discovering our humor, or our temperament in my private coaching group during the month of July. This is something I typically reserve for teaching at my retreats but I decided it was time to lead the exercise online. Join us tomorrow morning at 8am pdt/ 11am edt for a peak into how these sessions work. These are typically reserved for my Locals supporter community but tomorrow’s LIVE Stream is open to all!

This week’s read
The Four Temperaments by Randy Rolfe, J.D., M.A.
To be honest, saying I read this book this week feels like cheating. I’ve been teaching the principles of this book for many, many years. I use it as a guide to discussions at my conferences and retreats in Mexico. (which will be held in Arizona in early 2023-mark your calendars!) I re-read a portion of it in preparation for a day I was spending with girls at a gymnastics camp where I would be discussing body image and self acceptance and was reignited to it’s power. Of all the so called “self-help” books out there, I would put this at the top of my list. It will open your eyes to why you do the things you do and most importantly, it will help you align how you eat, how you sleep, how you work and how you deal with others with your true nature. This is what we will be discussing in tomorrow’s LIVE Stream.
EAT better while doing better
My husband, the man behind the scenes went to Vegas last week to volunteer and bring lunches to staff at The Just One Project. He never ceases to amaze me. During his weeks off from his real career as a Vascular Interventional Radiologist, he just pops down to our joint business in another state to give to others. The truth is, he finds deep purpose in spending time with the people at Just One. This organization is our partner in donating meals for copow. Each time you eat a meal, you are feeding someone who is in need. Our meals are available in the community market where families go and shop for free. To date, we have fed over 3000 people. On our way to our goal of 1 Million!
Donating a meal for a meal is unheard of and something everyone told me wasn’t going to be possible. Guess what? I’m proving them wrong! Our food is simply amazing and so are the people involved in making this dream a reality. If you love foodie quality food, want to be as healthy and vibrant as possible AND you have a generous heart - check us out!
Thank you for reading,
