“Education is an admirable thing, but it is well to remember from time to time that nothing that is worth knowing can be taught.”
-Oscar Wilde
This quote really gives me pause and makes me think. As someone who loves to read, it would be understandable to tend towards reading about things over experiencing them. I see this frequently in people looking to improve their health. Reading endless concepts about what diet or program is “best”, only to find themselves never taking action and experiencing the worm to actually improve their health.
This week on EML Radio
Dr. TJ and I are back and putting to rest the notion of a caloric deficit once and for all.
Be Better
You are supposed to die in one day, not over the course of 30 years.
I like most people, but I respect very few.
MOVE Better
I started practicing Tai Chi back in the fall of 2021. It has become my morning “go-to” as a means of waking up my body and quieting my mind. It does not replace my workout, but does something more valuable than any workout could do…
It grounds me. It helps me connect to nature. It makes me a better version of myself.
I encourage you to give it a try. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Find a YouTube video and go!
Thank you for reading,
