The Sunday Snewz Issue No. 3
January 15, 2023: Screw the middle, let's meet at the truth.
When setting out to write a satirical take on current events, I knew the project would be challenging but this week proved that finding anything funny in the world would be near impossible. As if sitting at a Chelsea Handler show, I looked far and wide and was left vacant - none of this is funny. So bear with me. In all of the chaos and polarization, I found one place I could take you that may be of some comfort - to the truth.
We still seem to be fighting things out amongst two distinct camps - not the right and left, but rather the conspiracy theorists and the tattle tales. Each side pointing at the unacceptable behavior of the other side, as a way of making their side seem upstanding. “We aren’t doing anything of real value and integrity, but at least we’re not as bad as they are.” Gauging their own level of disgusting behavior against the toilet boil behavior of the other side. The conspiracy folks dismissing the charges against Andrew Tate allegedly trafficking women because “we still don’t have Jeffrey Epstein’s client list,” and the brainless Biden supporters ignoring the fact he was keeping classified documents in his garage because ya know, Trump had documents at Mar A Lago too. The key difference of course being that Biden’s corvette was protecting the documents in his locked garage so back off Jack.
Although these two sides are the most vocal among us, I have faith that the majority of intelligent people (clearly my readers) want normalcy and truth. Under normal circumstances, those of us who are sane can just keep our heads down and ignore the lunatics on the extremes and eventually it all works out. But we aren’t living under normal circumstances and unfortunately that strategy isn’t going to work this time around. The crazies are splitting us down the middle and it’s time we tell mom and dad to stop fighting over us. We don’t want to live with either or them - we’re moving into our own apartment.
We are going to start thinking for ourselves. We aren’t going to believe mom is always right and dad is always wrong. We aren’t going to hide under the bed and cover our ears as the fighting ensues. We’re going to get informed and involved and get to the truth if it kills us. We aren’t going to point fingers or bury our heads in the sand. We’re going to start acting like real grown ups. Just think about how much smarter we are going to be by learning from someone who doesn’t think the same as us. This starts today, with this week’s stories.
We aren’t going to try and meet in the middle, let’s meet at the truth instead.
The sports page seems like an odd place to discuss a story of excess All Cause Mortality but it was the only place I could put it that made any sense at all. To be honest, the story itself is tough to believe but yet, here we are. Not only is it real, but it’s critical that people start paying attention.
Most attention to excess deaths has been brought about in the athlete community, and rightfully so. The most reputable and comprehensive study done in 2006 at the Division of Pediatric Cardiology in Lausanne, Switzerland showed 1101 sudden cardiac death cases over a 38 year period, a rate of about 29 deaths per year. As of January 2021, we have experienced 1568 cardiac deaths, about 65 per month. This is not normal under any circumstances and deserves investigation, which Ed Dowd has done in his book, Cause Unknown.
Ed was a guest on the Aubrey Marcus podcast this week and it is one of the most important discussions I’ve listened to in recent history. Aubrey is someone you would typically look to for health and fitness advice, not for analyzing insurance actuary tables. And Ed Dowd isn’t in the business of health, but instead a former portfolio manager for Black Rock Financial. It is for these very reasons these two are a source of reliable information on the unexplainable excess deaths in perfectly healthy people starting in January 2021. Neither of them have anything to gain by making shit up - they just present statistical data. Resist your urge to claim you already knew the vaccine caused injury or to deny injuries are occurring. Be an adult and listen to facts. Then make up your own mind.
“In 2021 we had 40% excess mortality in the group life policy holders of this country. A 10% increase is a once in a 200 year flood, 40% is off the charts. The millennial age group, those between 25-40 experienced excess mortality of 84%.”
But the biggest reason to listen to this podcast is because there is a message of hope. If we all come together to find the truth, we have a Renaissance of peace waiting for us on the other side of the current chaos.
If there was any one single positive take away we all could have from Covid, it is the reminder of just how important it is for us to take care of ourselves. No amount of so-called medical intervention can replace healthy lifestyle. Although the tattle tale group claims telling people to take better care of themselves is “judgy” and unkind, the exact opposite is true. Encouraging one another to take care of our health is an incredible act of kindness. Telling people to put down the soda and candy, isn’t fat shaming. No more than telling alcoholics (like yours truly) to put down the booze because it’s killing us. When people are harming themselves, we shouldn’t ignore it. Instead, we offer support and truth.
Unlike The American Academy of Pediatrics who believes more drugs and more surgery is the best solution of addressing childhood obesity. In their recently updated recommendations they now encourage weight loss drugs and gastric bypass surgery for those as young as 12 years. Do not show kids how to eat well and exercise, just drug them up and cut out their stomachs.
The CDC and FDA have officially admitted they have early signs of possible issues between the Prizer bivalent Covid shot and stroke. To those on the conspiracy side of the aisle, this is reassuring news that we were right all along. Try to keep yourselves from salivating and remember, real people have been injured and have died due to this issue. If you’re a tattle-taler, stop pretending we’re crazy and admit you were duped. Nobody blames you - unless of course you thought people should be fired from their jobs for refusing to take an experimental jab. If you went that far - there’s not much forgiveness to expect.
I just can’t this week.
Poetry comes in handy when the world feels too heavy to bear. There is a garden that lies beyond a gate I encounter on my morning walks. It prompted me to write this.
The Gate What lies beyond the gate? Fear rustling anxiety branches in bright and sweet. Memories sadness joy replete What lies beyond the gate?
If you made it this far in today’s newz, you might just get the idea that our medical system, big pharma and our government agencies don’t want us healthy. But that may just make you a conspiracy theorist - or possibly a free thinker.
Remember, in complex situations, all we have is the truth. This is why it is so important that the truth is what we cling to - not ideology. We are clearly living in complex times so actively seek out the truth. It’s all we have.
