As most of you who have been reading Unapologetically Evie since the start of the year, this is my mantra for 2023. Actually it is my mantra for life, but this year it felt particularly important to share this view with the world around me.

Searching the external world as if what we need is somehow “out there,’ and we just need to get busy finding it. Like I wrote awhile back in a Daily Truth, we need to be more like Michelangelo in discovering ourselves. Just as he explained that he created David by simply stripping everything away that wasn’t David, we too need to strip away what isn’t us.
Part of this process requires us to step into the world. To see ourselves as part of the world, not something external to us. To start looking through the window, not at the window.
