We focus so much of our attention on changing our behaviors, that we forget where real change comes from. You cannot change your behaviors without first changing your mindset behind those behaviors. This is the foundation of what I’ve been teaching people for over a decade. Any positive changes you’re seeking for your body, have to start with the spirit.
Your body simply houses your mind and your spirit. It is an external representation of what is going on inside. Yikes! That’s a bit revealing, huh? As vulnerable as that may make you feel, it is true. Your body is an outward indication of what is going on inside. You will never find a spiritually connected, flourishing person walking around slumped over, avoiding eye contact, arms crossed in front of them, hiding their body. It just doesn’t happen that way.
When your soul is settled, so is your body. When your spirit is soaring, you can see it in your outward appearance. You know the people, their eyes have a penetrating smile and the energy they omit warms a room. They’re standing tall, open to the world around them.
This sort of change only happens when you’re connecting to your spirit. All the focus on behaviors is for not, unless you start with the soul.
You can’t connect to your soul while you’re connected to everything else.
I’m taking the next week to completely disconnect from the world. I’m not talking about escaping to a beach to drink margaritas and relax in the sun. I’m removing myself from connection with everything else, so I can connect my spirit with its Source🙏🏼
Take some time to disconnect with the world and connect with your Source; that is where lasting change will occur.
